Legalism Recovery Act

Unlike our government is doing with banks, car companies, etc. I can't take over the book stores and make them sell my books at a lower cost, but I can offer my own version of a Recovery Act. So many are trapped in legalism and feel like they're approaching spiritual bankruptcy. They just can't seem to find a way out. So this is my version of a bailout plan!

Of course, I hope you know I'm joking. The truth is, though, that we're all having a tough time financially right now so I've decided to mark down the cost of all my books considerably more than I normally sell them.

This would be a good time to buy books for friends that you've wanted to understand the message. Also, be sure to note Lori Zenker's children's book, Promiseland. This is practically a giveaway price for a book like this. We heard just this week from somebody whose church is using that book in their children's Sunday School Department and he talked about how much they had enjoyed using it. Lori is the wife of Mike Zenker, our Grace Walk Canada National Director. She did a great job with this one.

Pastor Steve, bless you for doing this...I ordered some books...will pray in the money to order more. I want to keep copies of Grace Walk, Walking in the Will of God, and the 2 books of the Paul Anderson-Walsh trilogy on-hand to lend out to others..I have a copy of each; but want extras to use for the body. These are necessities for the library of every believer ! Thanks again :)

  2. As always, God is right on time. Having recently been called out from a group of believers that we have been meeting with for about 1 1/2 years, God laid on our hearts this past weekend that now is the time to activate our Grace Walk small group.

He has given us clear direction on how He wants to do this. Part of His instructions is for us to start financially supporting Grace Walk ministries and for us to use our personal finances to provide materials/books for the people that God will be bringing to meet with us. Considering that Eddie's pay has been affected by the economy and my teaching income has just ended for sumer break, this "recovery act" of yours is definately a God thing.

We are excited to see what God is going to do. Please pray for us. Satan has been attacking our family hard in the past couple of months. But God has continually confirmed His truth throughout the attacks and brings to mind often that He has already won the victory for us. God has made Himself so clear in us, to us, through us during this time that even in the midst of the battle we are walking around with smiles on our faces and the joy of the Lord literally giggling out through us. Of course, now our religious friends really think we are crazy :D
