ReplyDeleteI was able to see it this time, and the message was one I needed to hear.
Thankfully, God doesn't want my best effort, as I know from experience I would fall flat on my face---My weaknesses force me to cling to Jesus and to allow Him to animate my actions. My fleshly efforts just aren't reliable! . . .

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of that verse in 1 or 2 Peter the other day 'Cast all you cares upon Him because He cares for you' - I saw that it can be read like this 'Because He cares for you (ie Loves you), cast all your cares upon Him!' - a very freeing passage !
