ReplyDeleteis legalism from scripture in the Bible considered a lie?
ReplyDelete@jane, he is not saying we are not to love God the way Jesus mentioned. However this verse was regarding the summation of the Law by the religious teachers who were trying to trap Jesus. Of course we are to Love Him with all of our hearts, body, mind. But we need to remember that "no one is righteous, not even one." We can't do it on our own.
