The Opposite of God

HOW MOST PEOPLE SEE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND SATAN

THE WAY IT REALLY IS
What is the opposite of the word, "God?" There is none. The dualistic belief that God and Satan are counterparts to each is an insult to Elohim - the One who created and sustains all that exists. When Emmanuel came into this world in a manger, the world was given "good news of great joy for all people." Our God has loved us with an everlasting love and has given Himself to us as an assurance that we eternally belong to Him and nothing can change that fact. Not even Satan himself.

  1. God is in control. Jesus in birth, life, death, resurrection, glorification, disarmed satan, destroyed his weapons, made a display of him, and Jesus came to destroy Him, evil, and death! Christ came to destroy the works of satan. There is no ying yang or balance in existence between God and satan. You simply have to flip the switch and Light shines! Darkness flees! There is no equal to God! He stands alone. Great blog Steve. Dave C

  2. Amen, Steve. If God and Satan really are in a "war for souls", then it would appear that God will lose the war based on the numbers. So much for "victory" in Christ. Fortunately those who appear "lost" are also included in Christ and God has made provision for them too. Nowhere in scripture does it say that post-mortem repentance is impossible and in fact it hints at the possibility. (Luke 10:13-14, Matthew 12:41-42)

    1. Christ made provision for all souls to be appearing included in Himself but all will not do that reception nor acceptance of Provisional Salvation.

    Steve,

I just want to say that over the years I've listened to a lot of preachers and bible teachers, and have not found any who explain the Gospel in more clear and accurate terms than you. I appreciate the impact you have had on my understanding of who God is.

  4. So True Steve. Wouldn't the opposite of Satan be Gabrial or Michael?

  5. Amen to the fact that there is no opposite of God. I would guess that the opposite of Satan would be Gabriel or Michael since Satan was Lucifer before falling.
